Market Job Description

Wells Fargo provides middle market, large corporate and financial institution customers with a range of financing solutions, including treasury management, credit, payments, financing, foreign exchange, and trade services. Wells Fargo operates in 42 countries and territories outside of the U.S., including branches in Beijing, Cayman Islands, Dubai International Financial Center (DIFC), Hong Kong, London, Seoul, Shanghai, Singapore, Taipei, Tokyo, and Toronto.

Equipment Finance is a provider of commercial/corporate leasing and financing products. Equipment Finance reaches small, middle-market and large corporate companies with equipment needs and provides term loans, equipment leases, vendor finance programs and manufacturer finance programs.

Responsible for prospecting and developing an assigned database, working with other functions (Risk/Marketing/Legal) to maximize WFEF’s presence in the market and growing new business opportunities.

Responsibilities:
  • Responsible for growing WFEF’s market share in the Manufacturing industry by deepening our relationship with existing customers;
  • Develop new relationships with prospects and sourcing new business through 3rd parties (advisors, consultants, and dealers), generating quality profitable business, improving conversion rates and increasing market coverage.
  • Manage originated transactions wing-to-wing including quoting, credit submission, documentation and funding.
  • Understand WFEF’s value proposition by industry segment and customer profile. With that knowledge, work with WFEF’s marketing team to build a targeted awareness campaign.
  • Manage the existing portfolio, ensuring customer service expectations are met and assisting the risk team with any distressed accounts.
  • Have the financial acumen to be able to read and analyze financial statements and structure a value added deal for the client within reasonable risk tolerances at an appropriate return
  • Work collaboratively with credit, Capital Markets and legal teams through the various stages of each transaction

Market Skills and Certifications

Minimum qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Commerce/Business
  • 3+ years of relationship management experience
  • Proven Credit risk analysis skills and negotiations skills
  • Bilingualism – French/English
  • In-depth knowledge of Financing and Accounting
  • Effective information technology skills
  • Demonstrated passion for customer interaction and business development
  • Superior analytical skills
  • Proven ability to thrive in a fast paced, demanding, collaborative, team-driven environment
  • Demonstrated leadership through extracurricular activities and campus involvement
  • This job may required travel of few days per months.

Preferred skills:
  • 5+ years of experience in equipment financing or financial analysis
  • CFA, CA, CMA or MBA - Finance Program
  • Knowledge of financial accounting and taxation
